Work. Play. Succeed

Our Mission

Our service-based organization helps Lang commerce students achieve their personal and professional aspirations by providing experiences and opportunities outside of the classroom.

Why we do it- We want to see our peers and ourselves succeed

How we do it – Apply classroom theory combined with over 13 years of experience serving our clients, to facilitate quality opportunities

What we do – Welcome and encourage students to attend and participate in various socials, workshops, recruitment events, competitions, conferences and charitable initiatives

Our Values

Forward Together.

The goal is to create a sustainable organization to facilitate the growth of our initiatives. By helping our students create sustainable habits to achieve their personal and professional aspirations. By offer learning opportunities around economic, environmental, and social sustainability that can be applied to our future.

We embrace cross-cultural diversity to co-create with various viewpoints, respectfully allowing every individual to be comfortable as their most authentic self.

Our team challenges existing complex conditions with an innovative mindset to leave a footprint on industries, procedures, and operations for the better.

We are students too, and we recognize the importance of having a strong community. Everything the LSA does, from throwing huge events to providing academic assistance, is for the best interest of the entire commerce community.

Student Resources

Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program is aimed at first year, second year, international, and transfer business students at the University of Guelph to assist them with transition into the academic and social surroundings of being in a post-secondary environment.

All bachelor of commerce students at the University of Guelph are eligible for funding through Petitions, Delegations and Representations (PDR) when attending a conference/competition. PDRs can cover many costs associated with attending a conference, which may include delegate fee, transportation, and accommodations.
