Logistics Manager

Job Description

As the Logistics Manager, your task is to ensure that the conference runs as smoothly as possible. You will adhere to the conference schedule together with the Director of Events and assisting in manners during the conference that will ensure success is very important. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, time management as well as organizational skills.  Conflict resolution is also considered an asset.

As the Logistics Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organize transportation and catering menu

  • Organize case competition teams, scheduling and jugding platform

  • Assisting in logistical tasks such as technical (A/V) support and set-up/tear down

  • Work alongside the Event Managers and the event scheduling 

  • Attend all LSA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings

Events Manager

Job Description

As an Event Manager you will be working collaboratively with the other Event Manager, under the direction of and reporting directly to the Director of Events. You will assist with the coordination of LSC related planning, projects, and events. The main skills required for this job are superb organizational abilities, good interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills and excellent creativity. The role also requires the ability to plan and work in both the short and long-term timeframes. 

 

As the Events Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the planning and organizing of events with attention to financial and time constraints

  • Collaborate with internal members to develop event ideas for the weekends conference (i.e. social themes, venue decorations, gala theme)

  • Organize table arrangements, seatings and Dietary Restrictions for delegates

  • Purchase and assemble and set up  decorations for the each event during the conference

  • Attend all LSA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings

Administrative Manager

Job Description

As the Administrative Manager you will be working with Events Managers together to cover administrative duties, such as creating delegation forms, keeping track of application process, managing the LSC Inbox, and helping delegates for any concerns and questions. This role requires communication, team-work, and organizational skills. Attention to details would be an asset and is valued immensely. 

 

As the Administrative Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create online forms for different purposes throughout different stages 

  • Organize delegates’ information and report it to the Director of Events and Finance

  • Manage LSC Inbox and other online drives 

  • Attend all LSA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings

Social Media Manager

Job Description

As the Social Media Coordinator you will be in charge of managing the LSC social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter). You will report to the Director of Marketing and cohesively create a social calendar to stay up to date. This role requires time management, creativity and attention to spelling as well as will need to be able to have quick turnaround times.

 

As the Social Media Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  •  Developing, implementing, and managing a social media strategy and calendar

  •  Managing and overseeing social media content

  •  Monitoring user engagement and interacting with social media audience

  • Communicating with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network

  • Attend all LSA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings

Graphics Design Manager

Job Description

The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Director of Marketing to create and uphold the brand image across various social media channels and mediums. Tasks will include creating social media posts, graphics, internal and external branding and working with the social media manager to create calendars for upcoming posts. This job will require experience with graphic design software, attention to detail, deadline oriented, and excellent time management and communication skills.

 

As the Graphic Designer, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating the Conference slideshows and overall graphics themes

  • Working closely with the marketing team to deliver Social media posts and posters

  • Create the Corporate and Delegate package designs 

  • Produce New marketing initiatives that will assist in the overall advertising of LSC 

  • Create any and all templates needed for consistency and accuracy 

  • Attend all LSA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings

Campus Ambassador Coordinator

Job Description

The Campus Ambassador Coordinator takes initiative and brings external attention to the conference with a goal to acquire external delegate applications. You create and lead a Campus Ambassador Program across Ontario/Canada to gain traction and attention for external delegates. This role requires an organized, open-minded and engaging individual. 

 

As the LSC Campus Ambassador Coordinator, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the Campus Ambassador program, requiring coordination with 20-30 students from across Canada and potentially North America

  • Communicate with universities across Canada to acquire delegate applications

  • Work with Graphic Designer to develop all communications material used for press releases and email correspondence across Canada

  • Responsible for presenting proposals and maintaining relationships with all external media contacts

  • Attend all CBESA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings

Digital Marketing Manager

Job Description

As the Digital Marketing Manager you will control the messages that will be sent to the audience. You will work closely with the Social Media Manager and the Marketing team to ensure the overall tone and voice stay consistent. This individual will be well versed, organized and pays attention to details. 

 

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator,  your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the LSC voice across social media platforms together with Social Media Manager

  • Manage the LSC website and update it when needed

  • Create the Slideshow, Name Tags and other deliverables for conference days

  • Assist with any Marketing tasks

  • Grow the LSC platform on all digital platforms 

  • Attend all CBESA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings

Sponsorship Manager

Job Description

You are responsible for reaching out to companies that can potentially serve as event sponsors, conference sponsors, conference speakers and/ or in-kind donations. After sponsorships are negotiated, you will be responsible for making sure that our partner’s needs and deliverables are met while maintaining a professional and friendly relationship. You will report to the Director of Corporate and work together with the other Managers. 

 

As the Sponsorship Manager, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reaching out to external businesses to introduce LSC and secure mutually beneficial partnerships for organizational and event sponsorships

  • Act as primary point of contact for existing sponsors to ensure positive relationships

  • Work with the team to develop best practices for outreach

  • Maintain and develop accurate record of sponsorship outreach activity 

  • Attend all LSA events and a minimum of 3 ASO events per semester

  • Attend bi-weekly team meetings and monthly full team meetings
